Brrr. It's a bit nippy to be wearing a t-shirt. What you need is an RC Posh Polo Shirt, now with long sleeves. Perfect for keeping you warm on chilly rides...
Here at RC, we do our best to please. In previous years we've sourced fluffy, fleecy sweatshirts to keep you warm while spannering in the shed. 'Could we have something a bit smarter?' you asked. 'Something with a collar, maybe?'
No problem. The RC rugby shirt was the result and, judging by how many of them we see strolling around shows and autojumbles, it mostly hit the spot. But not quite. 'It's very nice' you said 'but…'
'Could we have something with a collar that isn't white? After all, a white collar isn't very practical for riding around on old bikes.'
Certainly. Of course. It would be our pleasure.
'And can it have a small logo, not a great big huge one? Something discreet?'
Just so. Nothing is too much trouble for you, dear, dear reader. So earlier this autumn we brought out the new RC polo shirt, a super high quality classic pique polo in sensible navy blue throughout (even the collar) with an unobtrusive message (My Bike's A RealClassic), made of 100% ringspun cotton, completely washable, hard-wearing, and everything.
'Actually, it's got short sleeves.'
'It's a bit nippy for short sleeves, don't you think?'
Right! Right. OK then. Dearest reader, most treasured reader on the planet, you are of course entirely correct. How could we possibly be so stupid?
Every RC reader naturally deserves the very best in life and it is our mission to deliver the goods. So we nipped back to Henbury (a traditional clothing company based in Bristol,
And? a bit like Douglas motorcycles expect that Henbury are still in business and Douglas aren't so perhaps they're nothing like Douglas after all), and selected their best long-sleeve polo shirt to keep your winter chills at bay.
Sorry! Sold Out...
