RC readers asked us for darker coloured tee-shirts which wouldn’t show the inevitable dust and grub from spannering in the shed or riding on the road.

So we’re delighted to oblige with the new RATHER BE RIDING RC tee, which is a suitably murky shade described as ‘charcoal’. That seems to mean ‘very dark grey but not quite black’ which fits the bill nicely.

The RATHER BE RIDING tee features this very handsome illustration;

printed in white across the front. So even if you are stuck at the desk, or hauling a trailer, or enduring tea and cucumber sandwiches with the vicar, you can still dream of getting out there on your classic bike.

The RATHER BE RIDING tee is a good quality 100% cotton item made of pre-shrunk jersey, which is intended to be worn repeatedly and should hold its shape after many washes. It has short sleeves with double stitching, a seamless collar, double needle top-stitched neckline, taped neck and shoulders.

The RATHER BE RIDING tee comes in a range of sizes from Small to 2XL, which are roughly S (34"/36"), M (38"/40"), L (42"/44"), XL (46"/48") and 2XL (50"/52"). We have found that this shirt is a bit more roomy than the I’M NOT OLD one, so there’s space for a relaxed fit.
