Ride It, Read It - RealClassic Knitted Caps
Smart and snug, the new RC knitted caps are just what you need to keep the winter chills at bay while spannering in the shed, or when bimbling around a breezy autojumble... Many woolly hats tend to be rather shapeless and have a habit of 'rising up with wear'. We can't claim to be fashion gurus but we have been keeping our eyes peeled for headgear which will be as warm as the traditional beanie or bobble hat, but which is just a little more stylish. We think we've found just the thing in the shape of these knitted classic caps. Based around the traditional army-style cap, these carefully shaped caps are made of heavy gauge, machine-washable soft feel acrylic (which is rather less itchy than wool, we find). One size fits all, and we've chosen a handsome and practical charcoal grey shade for our knitted caps. The fixed peak at the front gives more shape to these caps and helps to anchor them on your head, as well as providing some shade from the low-level winter sun.
There's a discreet RealClassic logo on the front, together with the tagline 'Ride It: Read It' to give your chums a clue about your riding and reading habits. This is embroidered in blue, and looks rather smart although we do say so ourselves. Overall, the RC Knitted Cap is a smarter way of insulating your assets and should stop frost forming on your most northern slopes! The RC Knitted Cap costs £9.00 including VAT, plus delivery.
