Ü There’s two events not to miss at Malvern this weekend; the Saturday hosts a SPARES DAY for classic off-road, Japanese and dirt bike machines with autojumble and trade stands. The Sunday fun includes the REALCLASSIC BIKE SHOW and jumble with private entries, concours displays, club stands, autojumble and trade stalls. Ü The South of England RealClassic MOTORCYCLE SHOW AND BIKEJUMBLE opens at 10am at the South of England Showground near Ardingly RH17 6TL, close to Gatwick. Private entries very welcome to join the displays of British, European, Japanese and American classics: book in early as this popular show is usually full weeks before the day. Thanks to the increasing attendance in recent years the Show will expand into an extra hall to give space to all the club displays, trade stands and autojumble stalls. All marques, makes and models are welcome at the Clubs’ Show, which attracts a wide array of classic machinery ranging from tiddler British two-strokes to hairy-chested Laverda triples. All the major clubs and popular marques are well represented at this relaxed, informal and friendly event. Your club is welcome to attend, too, or just come along on the day to enjoy the sights and sounds of the British biking club scene. Ü The Royal Enfield OPEN WEEKEND offers a wide range of attractions for everyone, whether you own an Enfield, are considering buying one, or just fancy a FREE day out. The current range of EFI bikes will be available to test ride, plus factory tours; sidecar rides; accessories, clothing, insurance and spares; ice cream and curry (not necessarily in that order); interviews with special guests and the RC-sponsored classic bike concours. No need to prebook, just show up on the day. Old bike and modern motorcycle both very welcome, plus plenty of parking if you come in the car. Club rides very welcome (please advise organisers in advance). Remember to bring both parts of your licence and full riding gear if you want to take a test ride. Ü The 62nd BANBURY RUN returns to the Motor Heritage Centre at Gaydon, with 600 entrants on machines manufactured before 1931 following three different routes to converge at the site. All places fill fast so enter ASAP; closing date is at the end of Feb. Ü The 216 RUN celebrates the longest day and takes place somewhere in Cornwall, and all RC readers and riders are very welcome to join a gentle moorland ride on motorcycles ancient or modern (emphasis on the gentle). Meets at 10.30am at the Subway Truck Stop, Plusha, Launceston, PL15 7RR for an ill-disciplined fifty mile ramble around Bodmin Moor. Lunch stop c1pm; please do bring a packed lunch. July 9th, 10th and 11th

Ü The VMCC’s FESTIVAL OF 1000 BIKES returns to Mallory Park, giving old bike enthusiasts the opportunity to ride their own machines in multiple track sessions over the weekend. Saturday caters for all classes of road machines from the earliest veterans (discounted entry fee available for pre 1925 machines) through to machines of the super bike era. On Sunday the racing machines take part in special track sessions running throughout the day.
