RC Ride-In at London Motorcycle Museum

Fancy a ride-out in the subtle September sunshine? Everyone's invited to our Triple Treat at The London Motorcycle Museum on Sunday 3rd September 2006...

The Trident and Rocket 3 OC's annual Beezumph bash was scheduled for later in the season this year - September instead of its usual July date. So, we said, as everyone will be getting their three-cylinder machines ready for Beezumph, why don't we invite them along to the annual RC Ride-In at the London Motorcycle Museum? The LMM just happens to be the home of the very first Brit triple, the P1 prototype, and even as this is being typed there's a man in West London who is fettling P1 so (hopefully) we can hear it run on the day.

A Kawasaki triple, yesterday. Hold on a minute...

Of course, we want to see all sorts of other triples, too, including modern Hinckley Triumphs and bikes from all around the world, and while we're at it let's extend the three-theme to three-wheelers and… suddenly, it turned into a Triple Treat!

  • Three-Cylinder Gathering supported by the TR3OC

All motorcycles (especially triples!) welcome, and three-wheelers of all shapes and sizes would be a bonus. Features three-cylinder and three-wheeled bikes of all ages and from all around the world including original BSA & Triumphs, Suzuki strokers, Scott, Laverdas, Kawasakis, Hinckley Triumphs, trikes, sidecar combinations and more - what do YOU ride?

PLUS P1 on display: P1 was the three-cylinder prototype built in the mid-1960s as the road-going test-bed for Triumph's 750cc triple project. Fully researched, re-discovered and restored in the 1990s by the TR3OC and a small army of experts. If we're very lucky, P1 will be up and running for all to see (and hear!)

  • RealClassic Ride In and All Day Breakfast

Meet the magazine crew and enjoy a slap-up feed; buy back issues, merchandise and discount subscriptions, and put faces to names of regular readers and contributors. Or enter the RealClassic Concours: the winning machine will be featured either in the magazine or on this site. And if you show your RC Club card when you buy some raffle tickets then you'll get some extra tickets for FREE - and double your chances of winning all sorts of eccentric prizes!

  • Museum Extension Preview

Full access to the LMM collection of over 80 classic and vintage machines dating from 1902 to 2002, including other prototypes and rare motorcycles PLUS a sneak preview of the Museum's development plans for 2007

As seen in RealClassic. Hold on a minute...
