Odgie's New T-Shirt

At Dirtquake, daft people ride classic street bikes around a speedway track. Our man Odgie built a Beezer, took it to the track – and won! That calls for some kind of celebration. How about a commemorative T-shirt?...

As regular RealClassic readers will know, that man Odgie doesn’t just ride classic bikes, he also builds and races them under the Anthill Racing banner. We’ve seen some of his scrambles exploits in RC before, and lately he’s taken to road bike speedway. This year he built himself a BSA A65 chopper to race at Dirtquake, a madcap event probably very well suited to his own, erm, unusual lifestyle. Can you believe it, Odgie only went and won the premier event, beating a certain Mr Guy Martin into second place. Woohoo!

If you’d like to see how it all happened, here’s the on-board footage. Hold tight:

To commemorate the event, and to raise funds for his next madcap project, Odgie’s had a bunch of T-shirts printed. The main design on the front features him on the A65 giving it large at Dirtquake. The initial batch of shirts also have Odgie’s favourite quote, summing up what racing means to the man, printed on the back as well.
