Subscribe & Save - Special Offers
Starting to feel the financial pinch? If you subscribe to RealClassic magazine then you save money on each issue (over 20% in fact). But there’s more: you could also claim discounts worth far more than the cost of your magazine subscription... The monthly RealClassic magazine doesn’t cost a great fat lot to start with: an annual sub to the UK will only cost you £29.95 which means you’re paying less than £2.50 for each copy and getting the delivery thrown in for free. Now that can’t be bad, considering that most classic bike magazines cost the thick end of four quid at the newsagents these days.
You may well already be a long-term subscriber, in which case you’ve probably forgotten that you could be claiming money off on some of these things. So dig out your RC Club card, and keep it handy… Up to 15% Off Insurance BikeSure have been offering motorcycle insurance for donkey’s years (you may know them as Adrian Flux; it’s the same organisation). They offer insurance policies to suit all sorts of motorcycles including classic bike policies, trikes, custom bikes, quads, H-Ds, multi-bike insurance, scooters, mopeds, superbikes, agreed value cover and limited mileage discounts. On top of that lots, Adrian Flux also provide the full range of household, personal and motor insurance policies, so they’re worth trying for more than just bike insurance. RC Club members can claim up to 15% off their policies. Call for a quote – or if you get a quote online remember to tell them you’re a RealClassic Club member and that you should be given a discount! www.bikesure.co.uk
Bestspoke in Yorkshire offer a comprehensive service of precision surface cleaning, alloy polishing and wheel refurbishment. Les Wylde and his team will tackle carbon deposits, rust and scale on cylinder heads, barrels, crankcases and so on, and will rebuild your wheels with vapour-blasted or Aqua-blasted then polished / painted hubs, stainless spokes and elite chrome to show standards. They can do much more, too; these are just examples of the services on offer. Mention you are an RC subscriber when you call and ask for your discount: it will vary on how much work you’re having done and what the work entails. Top Toys!
These fully functional, miniature motorised vehicles come as complete cars, kits, or patterns and parts – so you can assemble them yourself if you’re handy with the spanners. RLT supply paper patterns and a build manual full of instructions. All the manuals contain easy to read workshop drawings for those who like to manufacture the metalwork – but all parts are available from stock. For those who want a speedy build there are some complete bodies, ready to prepare and paint saving time and effort. There are full instructions on driving, charging, servicing and maintaining this child’s toy to keep it in tip top condition. Real Life Toys is run by RC Clubman Richard, and he doesn’t normally give any sort of discounts… BUT… just for us, he’s offering £5 off a set of DIY patterns and build manual, which is normally £35, and £25 off a kit of parts to build your own ‘RealClassic Children’s Toylander’, a Series 1 Land Rover-style car kit at £816 or the Tractor kit at £787. You must mention RealClassic and have your membership number to hand when you order. Cat-Sitting In Scotland RC Clubman Pete Murray offers a cat-sitting service in Edinburgh. Pete looks after your moggy in your home while you’re away, for £7 per day. That’s for people in Edinburgh, obviously. Not people in Cornwall. Sadly… FREE Postage & Packing From Frost
You may well have seen Frost’s catalogue before, packed full of tools and equipment for the home mechanic or restorer. Frost search high and low to find the most useful and innovative aids for your restoration projects and all of their products are rigorously tested by the Frost team. Their catalogue now contains over a thousand items including many tailored to motorcycle mechanics – and you can claim FREE delivery to the UK mainland if you’re a new Frost customer. Great Pub Grub at Cut-Rate Prices
What’s My Number? Your RealClassic Club number is shown on the label of your magazine each month, and you will be sent a personalised Club membership card with your first or second magazine – look out for the wee blue card which will give you access to these discounts and more throughout the year... If you are an existing subscriber and have lost your card then replacement cards can be supplied: send £1 to RCHQ at PO Box 66, Bude EX23 9ZX and we’ll make a new one. Sign Up & Save! If you’ve been swayed by any of the above (or just taken pity on a poor copywriter who has to slave away over a hot keyboard, making these things sound vaguely exciting), and would like to subscribe to the monthly RealClassic bike magazine, then you can do so online here: www.realclassic.co.uk/subscribe If you’d like to see what’s in each magazine and the kind of bikes we feature, then take a look here, which details what’s in the latest issue. You can even buy a single copy to see if you like it. You can also subscribe by cheque through the post (all the details are here: www.realclassic.co.uk/subscribe) or come and see us at a show or autojumble and we’ll take cash off you in person… |
