Whitewebbs Classic Bike Show (and a 'Toon)

Real Classic riders get everywhere! Two Triumph-riding tearaways scampered off to the Whitewebbs classic event; Mick Lake explains, and provides photographic evidence. Plus: bonus cartoon from another Paul, or maybe the same one...

CB350 Paul and myself had a great day out at Whitewebbs Classic Bike Show in Enfield on Sunday April 4th. It was nice to see so many lovely old bikes ridden to the show. The atmosphere was wonderful. As well as the older bikes there was a good showing by the Virago Owners' Club, and the Essex Chapter of the Hells Angels on their Harleys.

They do drag racing at North Weald these days...

The highlight of the show was an excellent group playing some great rock 'n' roll. Didn't get their name, but they were brilliant. Just wish I could have bottled the sound, smell, and atmosphere, and brought it home!

Things to do before it's too late: get a ride in an enclosed double adult sidecar.

CB350 Paul was on his lovely old Speed Twin, and I was on my 3TA. The two bikes were parked next to each other all day, and there wasn't a drop of oil under them at the end. That must be a record!

Not a spot of oil to be seen...
I think the vibration from the music was shaking the lens...

Budding Cartoonist?
